How do I access my web site administrator control panel?

Access to your site administrator control panel is located at:

https://yourdomainname.com

How do I access my user administrator control panel?

Access to your user administrator control panel is located at:

https://yourdomainname.com

How do I access my web based email?

Access to your web based email is: http://domain_name.com/squirrelmail/

your username is user_name@domain_name.com 

How do I set up email auto responders and email forwarding?

Access your user administrator control panel at:
 https://domain_name.com:19638/webhost/services/virtualhosting/useradmin

Click on the menu link Email.

What values do I use for email program?

Internet email (for example, POP/IMAP accounts)

user_name@domain_name.com
or
user_name#domain_name.com (if your email program does not accept the @ symbol)

How do I ftp to my web site?

Using your FTP program these are your settings:

Host name / Address:  domain_name.com
(enter your domain name - do not use ftp.domain_name.com)

User Name:  <user_name>@<domain_name.com> or <user_name>#<domain_name.com>

Password:  This is the password you selected when you registered for hosting.

• Note: The default upload directory is /home/<user_name>

Tip: You can upload your Web content into this default directory, however, when you want to make the content available to Internet browsers, you will have to put the HTML content into the directory:

/home/<user_name>/mainwebsite_html
or the same location is also /var/www/html

How do I create directories?

You can create the directories through your ftp program, front page or thru your web site administrator control panel by clicking on File Manager.

How do I upload and use cgi scripts?

You can upload CGI script content to the directory:

/home/user_name/mainwebsite_cgi thru ftp
or
the same location can also be found at /var/www/cgi-bin

File pathing:
CGI-BIN Root Path (absolute pathing) is /var/www/cgi-bin
or
/home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/cgi-bin/the file or directory

Web File Root Path (absolute pathing) is: /var/www/html/
or
/home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/the file or directory
To call a cgi-bin script in your html pages:

http://domain_name.com/cgi-bin/script name

You will need to read the documentation about your cgi script to set the proper permissions for the script.

How do I change my password?

You can change the password for your web site thru the web site administrator control panel.
Each users email account password can also be changed thru the user administrator control panel.
